Hello Bee friends. It’s Bobbi Lemanski here with a quick and flashy card for Dad. Father’s Day is in two weeks and our kids are going to need a card to celebrate my husband. I made this one using some new Honey Bee Stamps products including:
The featured project below is made from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock for the card base. All of the black ink stamping was done using Honey Bee’s Bee Creative Intense Black Ink. I used Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue for adhering my elements together. My card is 5″ X 7″ in size.
To make this 5″ X 7″ card, I die cut the HAPPY background die out of black cardstock and glued four 1-1/4″ tall X 4-1/4″ wide pieces of blue cardstock on the back. I attached the die cut to a white card base. The “Love You” phrase was stamped and die cut using the Miss you Big Time stamp set and coordinating die set and attached using Scrapbook Adhesives .25 Foam Squares in white to make it stand out.
I die cut stars using the multi stars die from the Rainbow Accents die set from the blue shades and attached them around the “love you” phrase. I also stamped and die cut “Happy Father’s Day” from the Kiss the Cook stamp set and coordinating die set and attached it to the bottom right corner. Tiny coordinating stars were added to the phrase along with faux, black stitching around the outer perimeter.
Inside the card, I stamped and die cut another phrase from the Kiss the Cook set to complete this quick, but flashy card! I could have simply stamped the phrase right inside the card, too. I think the hubby will like this card specially designed for him! 🙂
