My card features the following new Brass and Bliss Craft Company products:
Sky High Birthday Birds stamps and dies
All of my cards below measure 5″ X 7″ in size. I use Neenah 80lb cardstock for my card base.

To make this card, I created a template using the Sunburst Cover Die from regular photo paper. I used Distress Oxide Ink in Mustard Seed to blend the color onto a sheet of white cardstock. Using green cardstock, I created two layers of rolling hills. I added Distress Oxide Ink in Rustic Wilderness to the edges of the hills to make the layers stand out and “ground” the land for the bird to rest on. I also hand drew in some tall grasses and spots of darker green to mimic a grassy landscape. Once all the layers were secured in place, I die cut the design down to an arch shape using the Stitch Dot Nested Arch Dies. I used the largest of the arches since my card measures 5″ X 7″ in size. If you are making a smaller card, such as an A2 size, you can scale down using a smaller arch in the nested set.

For the cute birds and the tree from the set, Sky High Birthday Birds stamps and dies, I colored them using the following Copic Sketch Markers:
Birds: B02, B00, C3, C1, E57, E55, R22, R20, YR68, YR15, E57, E55, R00, E50, E51, YR27, YR24
Tree Trunk and leaves: E57, E55, E44, E47, YG67, YG63, YG03
I attached the flying and standing birds using foam tabs to make them stand out. The one in the tree, I simply glued in. The foam tabs make the scene dimensional and more interesting. Lastly, I added the sentiments from the same bird set to complete the look.
I have 9 more cards to share featuring this release so keep watching here and on my Instagram page for more fun birthday card ideas! Thanks for stopping by today.
