It’s live! The new Sunnyside Up release by Trinity Stamps went live today. Get all your Easter and Spring sets in one swoop! We are celebrating the mini release with an Instagram Hop. I’m featuring this springy slimline card with a watercolor wash background.
To make this slimline card measuring 8-1/2″ wide X 3-1/2″ tall, I started with a light watercolor wash using Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors (48) on Canson XL Bristol Smooth watercolor paper. Since watercolor paper wrinkles a bit, I sewed the paper to a card base made from Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock.
I stamped multiple eggs, the gnome bunny and the hands with an egg accessory image from the Gnome Bunny stamp set. Everything was colored using Copic markers. I hand drew a cute little floral pattern on the gnome’s hat. I cut out the elements and attached to the front. There is a coordinating die set to cut everything out, too. Notice I attached the gnome using dimensional foam tabs to make him stand out a bit.
Finally, I stamped the cute phrase from the set in the upper right corner and added some sparkle pastel sequins around the eggs. I also attached the hands/egg image to the front of the gnome with a foam tab. So, so cute!
