Hello, Friends! Today, I’m sharing a quick Valentine’s Day card that offers so many hugs, kisses and love all in one card. There no coloring involved which makes this a quick one. It’s a card that could be used for anyone at any age. It’s vibrant, graphic, modern and packs a punch all in one. You could change up the colors and this could be an anniversary or birthday card, too. I’m using the following products from Trinity Stamps:
I started with a 5″ X 7″ Canson XL watercolor paper Canson XL Bristol Smooth watercolor paper and Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors (48) and made some imperfect squares of reds and pinks. Anyone can do this! You don’t have to be a trained artist to have fun with watercolor paints! I splattered more color after the squares had dried completely.
Next, I die cut the letters using the Bold LOVE Die Set from red and white cardstock. I also die cut a black heart using the Nested Hearts – 4 piece set. The letters were layered on the front, using a variety of outline and fills. This die set is fun because you can use them separately or use them together. I used the red letters and outlines on the card front base.
To finish the card, I added the white letters on the black heart, attached the heart using Scrapbook Adhesives White Foam Squares to the upper middle of the front. Lastly, I added red sequins to the middle of the “O” in LOVE for a little sparkle for Valentine’s Day. The card front was adhered to a 5″ X 7″ 80lb Neenah Solar White cardstock card base using Scor-Tape double-sided .25″ tape (works well with watercolor paper).
