Easter Bunny’s Garage

Do you ever wonder what the Easter Bunny’s garage and vehicle might look like? After all, there’s no way cool EB can hop to all those houses on foot. He’s got to have some wheels. 🙂 This 5-1/2″ square card begins with the Easter Bunny’s garage door on the card front. I made the door using the Barn Wood Plank background stamp set and Wood Frame Builder die set I heat embossed in white the woodgrain background on a minty green cardstock. All the trim boards were made using the new frame pieces. I love the woodgrain texture these dies create. I also added five windows in this garage door. I love that they are egg-shaped! I used the Itty Bitty Eggs die set to make the openings.

I made a sign to hang on the door using the Wood Grain Plank die set and apricot cardstock. I added the “GARAGE” Tailgate Alpha Dies in white and heat embossed the words, “Easter Bunny” from the Big Pickup Tailgate stamp set. Fun little bits from the Easter Buddies stamp and coordinating dies were added along with that cute Bunny head from the Big Pickup Tailgate stamp set.

When the card is opened, the Easter Bunny’s bunny-mobile is revealed inside! Of course it has a rainbow on the tailgate! A load of carrots, easter egg basket and more are part of this bunny’s cool ride. He’s peeking out of the heap, too! The license plate reads, “Hippity” and the bumper sticker says “Gotta Hop.”

I hand drew the rainbow on the tailgate and the colorful egg design on the pickup cab. The interior of the garage includes a cement floor and wood plank walls. I used the Wood Grain Plank die set for the back wall. This card mails in a 5-3/4″ or 6″ square envelope.
