Seriously, How Cool Card

I think this new Sexy Hexies background is all it and a bag of chips! Seriously (no pun intended), I love this modern, graphic design for the background to anything, including just a fun phrase. I’m using the hexagon background stamp along with Wow! Bright White Opaque Embossing Powder and black cardstock for the background of this 5″ X 7″ card.

For the phrase, I used the stamp set called Emphatic from the Best Days release a while ago. For the colorful strip, I actually cut a piece of scrap paper and added coloring to it using my Copic markers. I used the following colors in this order: R29, R14, YR09, YR68, YR61, Y19, Y15, YG00, YG03, B02, B00, V04, V12. Lastly, I added faux stitching lines using a fine tip marker and a ruler over it and below the words and adhered the strip to the background. I attached the finished card front panel to a white card base made from white cardstock. It’s that quick and easy!
