I’m Here For You Card
For this slimline card measuring 8-1/2″ tall X 3-1/2″ wide, I used three new products:
Bottom: Sexy Hexies Background stamp heat embossed in white on black cardstock.
Middle: Silhouette Sentiments stamped in black over sun rays created with Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors (48) watercolor paint and the Slimline Sun Rays Stencil on Canson XL Bristol Smooth watercolor paper. Yes, you can use watercolors with stencils. It’s a bit messier and more imperfect which I think makes it beautiful. I also splattered on gold paint over my yellow rays for more imperfection and beauty! I also stamped and attached the sentiment strip using the same stamp set.
Top: Open Grid Background stamp stamped in black on white cardstock. I used a matching Copic marker to add the bit of gold-yellow color to the top. (I believe I used YR23 and Y21).
The card front was attached to a white card base made from white cardstock.
Did I tell you that I’m in love with these Sexy Hexies? I LOVE IT! The pattern is so modern and fun!
I think this card is a nice way to share that you are there for a friend. The butterfly in the air shares a bit of hope and help to a friend.
