Sometimes you just have to smile wide and let Uncle Albert take your photo with his vintage camera! Yep. We had an Uncle Albert growing up. He was actually my dad’s uncle and my great uncle. He would have his camera out at every function. We were never really sure how those photos turned out since we never really saw them, but we knew when the camera was out, it was time to say, “CHEEZ.”

My card today features the following Jane’s Doodles stamp sets:

Old is Gold (camera)

Outdoors (moose)

Sky’s the Limit (Happy birthday phrase)

To create this 5″ X 7″ card:

I started with 80lb Neenah Solar White cardstock and created a white card base measuring 10″ wide X 7″ tall and scored down the middle to create the A7 size.

I cut two pieces of bright yellow cardstock measuring 3-1/2″ wide X 4-1/4″ long and used a circle punch in 3/4″ and 1/2″ to add some holes to the top of the cheese block.

I added Distressed Oxide Ink in Fossilized Amber around the edges. I also used my Copic YR23 to add some darker outlines around the holes.

I layered the two pieces to make the cheese dimensional using Scrapbook Adhesives White Foam Squares. I attached the cheese block to the front of the card, 1-1/4″ down from the top edge of the card base and centered horizontally.

I stamped, colored and fussy cut the moose and camera to the front.

I stamped the “happy birthday” phrase below the cheese block to complete this card.
