Hey, friends. Did you have one of those pups that plays while you’re away? Yep, pups have their own way of finding fun when no one is home. Some like to chew, rip, tear and/or eat things that they should not. My little Cavalier used to chew things when we were not looking. I’m glad she grew out of that game!
I’m using an adorable stamp set from Paperie Ink called, My Pawlidays for this 5″ X 7″ card. To create the background for this setting, I’m also using new stamp set by Purple Onion Designs called, Room Background, illustrated by the very talented, Stacey Yacula. It’s a perfect combination. This adorable Pawlidays tree fits so well in this room interior for a perfect scene setting!
All the images were stamped on 80lb Neenah Solar White cardstock, colored with Copics (using the following listed colors for this card) and fussy cut the images for the card. The room interior scene was also stamped on a 5″ X 7″ card panel.
- Greens/tree: YG67, YG63, YG03 and YG00
- Earthy browns/floor: E43, E55, E57, E15
- Reds/caps, stool, and stockings: R89, R29, R17, R14
- Fuchsias: RV09, RV55, RV02
- Aquas/sky and ornaments: B04, B00, B000
- Blue-Violets: BV00, BV000, BV23
- Violets: V0000, V000, V00
- Cool Grays/woodwork, dog and snow: C3, C1, C0
To make this card, I colored the room, adding a little mini pine tree scene in each window from the outside. I added color to the walls and trim and added wood-graining to the wood floor. When assembling the card, I attached the focal point tree to the room using Scrapbook Adhesives White Foam Squares to make it stand out a bit. The rest of the images were placed and adhered inside the cute room as well. I trimmed the room scene around the edges and attached it to a 5″ X 7″ card base to complete the look.
