It’s LIVE…Honey Bee Stamp’s 4th Anniversary BEE Day Release! We’ve been sharing sneak peeks all week and it’s now time to shop. But, wait! Before you shop, we’ve got more ideas, inspiration and chances to win! For two days, you can blog hop and comment on each blog for a chance to win wonderful prizes from Honey Bee Stamps. You must comment on every blog to be eligible to win. Check out the list of prizes at the end of this post and also the list of the design team members in the hop.
Since you’re here, I’ve got two more ideas to share with you, today. Both use new release products. The first card uses the following sets:
- Mother’s Day stamp set and coordinating dies
- EGGcelent Sentiments stamp set and coordinating dies
- Spring Chicks stamp set and coordinating dies
- Hexagon Pattern Stencil Set
For this card, I used the Mother’s Day Honey Cut die set to create the wooden box to hold the flower spray from Mother’s Day and the cute speckled egg bundle from Spring Chicks. After coloring and speckling the eggs, I tucked the bundle in the container, in front of the flowers and added a few peeking chickies, too. For the wooden box, I hand-drew the woodgrain. I added a little chick and the broken egg to the front for added interest. The entire design was adhered to the card front. The card front background was created by sponging white ink on gray cardstock using the Hexagon pattern stencil. The soft colors create a nice background for this bouquet. All images for this card were colored using Copic Sketch Markers.
Here’s another card I made using the EGGcellent Sentiments and the cupcake frosting topper from the stamp set, Piece of Cake. I’m not sure if these actually look like peeps to others, but they do to me! My dad always loved these edible peeps!
The card front background and phrase strip were created using watercolors in rainbow colors and Canson XL Watercolor paper. I added some enamel dot embellishments that I had for years (mine shown here are more pastel, so I can’t wait to get these Rainbow ones from Honey Bee!) to the front, too. By the way, the Over the Rainbow Enamel Stickers are included in one of the prize packs this weekend, too!
Don’t forget to visit all of the blogs on the Anniversary Blog Hop. (See the participating design team member list below) Leave a comment on each blog for a chance to win prizes! Remember, you must comment on each one to be eligible to win. There are two days to hop and here are the prizes for each day:
